Pacific Microfinance Week 2009
The Microfinance Pasifika Network and The Foundation for Development Cooperation (FDC) convened the second Pacific Microfinance Week 2009 in Nadi, Fiji, from 13 – 17 July 2009. Pacific Microfinance Week 2009 brought together more than 150 microfinance and financial sector practitioners, experts, policy-makers, academics and regulators drawn from more than 15 countries from across the Pacific and beyond for a week-long series of events, discussions, meetings and gatherings.
A third Pacific Microfinance Week is tentatively planned for sometime in 2011 in Vanuatu.
