Pacific Resource Centre for Microfinance
The Pacific Resource Centre for Microfinance (PRCM) is a "one-stop shop", providing a platform for mutual learning and sharing of information, knowledge and experience in microfinance within the region.
The aim of the PRCM is to:
- Act as virtual hub for mutual learning and sharing amongst microfinance stakeholders;
- Assist to develop content and create a pool of resources in the region so as to facilitate the growth of the microfinance sector;
- Increase the effectiveness and capacity of knowledge management within the Pacific; and
- Challenge member practitioners to new levels of excellence through promoting transparent performance standards and reporting and sharing of experience.
The PRCM has been made possible by the support provided by the United Nations Development Programme Pacific Centre and the PRCM's resources broadly fall into four categories.
